Karen Ann Jones

Karen Ann Jones, age 57, of Indianapolis, Ind. died on Monday, May 9, 2016 after a sudden illness. She was born on June 20, 1958 to the late William Carl and Juanita Mae (Hardin) Aills.

She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be missed by her husband, Lonzo Jones; son, Justin (Kendra) Jones; daughter Sarah (Ryan Smith) Jones; brothers, Donald and William, Jr. Aills; grandchildren, Justin Jones II, Matthew, Brandon and Mackenzie Ellis, Calleigh and Carley Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence, 5215 N. Shadeland Ave., Indianapolis. There will be no service. At Mrs. Jones’ request she will be cremated and her remains laid to rest at her favorite beach in Florida.

Memorials in memory of Karen can be made to the family to assist with final expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
