Karl "Sonny" W. Watkins

Karl “Sunny” W. Watkins, 74, of Indianapolis, passed away with family by his side on Saturday, August 18^th, 2018.

Karl worked for Maplehurst Farms/Deans foods for 27 years before retiring. Karl enjoyed fishing, racing, playing cards and most importantly spending time with family and friends.

Karl is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Helen Diana Watkins. Sons; Jim (Lori), Steve (Melissa) and Chuck (Bobbie) Watkins. Daughter, Anna (Dave) Maust. Brother, Charles Watkins. Sisters; Carolyn and Sharon. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Karl is preceded in death by his parents, Roanna Sampsell and Charles Watkins. He is also preceding in death by his Sister, Deloris Mull, Brother, Roy Watkins and Children; Angel and David Watkins.

Funeral services will be held at Legacy Cremation & Funeral services – Morris Street on Friday, August 24^th, 2018, at 1:00 Pm. Visitation will be held from 12:00 – 1:00 Pm. Immediately following the Funeral services there will be a Graveside committal at Floral Park Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Watkins family.
