Katherine “Kathie” Ann (Walker) Vincent,

of Westfield, Indiana, passed away on May 2, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital

The beloved wife of Jerry L. Vincent, and shared 45 wonderful years together.

Born in Sacramento, CA, on September 15, 1952, the daughter of Kenneth and Alice Walker.

She served in many of the children’s ministries of the churches her husband served as pastor and recently served as a teacher at Church at The Crossing’s Early Childhood center. She found joy in spending time with the children and their families.

Kathie had quite the green thumb and always had an abundance of flowers around her home. She loved spending time with her family, taking walks through local parks, and going to the sporting events of her grandchildren. As well as traveling across the country to see her family.

She is survived by her four children; Laurie Vincent of Westfield, Jeremy (Joni) Vincent and grandchildren Haley and Jake of Noblesville, Jamie Vincent of Westfield, Joshua Vincent of Noblesville, and husband Jerry of Westfield.

She was also predeceased by her father Kenneth Walker, her sister Sandra Walker, and in-laws, Chester and Belva Vincent.

A private service for the family will be held at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence on May 7th. Followed by a private graveside at Hamilton Memorial Park, Westfield, IN. No Visitation will be observed. A celebration of life to be planned at a later date, after the COVID-19 pandemic has abated.
