Katherine Lorraine ( Sallee ) Colton was born on July 25 , 1958 to Kenneth Sallee and Janice Cox in Elwood. She left this world on September 8, 2020 unexpectedly from a sudden illness.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Colton whom she has been married to for 45 years. Sons: James ( Matty) Colton, Daniel (Belinda) Colton II and daughter Misty (Nikki Heck) Fippen. Also grandchildren: James Colton II, Thomas Colton , Toby Colton, Tabitha ( Allen ) Keegan , Samantha Colton, James (Brianna) Fippen II, Kyle Fippen, Trevor Fippen, Ashlyn Fippen, 3 great grandsons , Brantley, Kingston and Easton Fippen. Sisters: Penny Hobbs, Annie Hinshaw and brother Joe Adams. Also several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She last worked at GasAmerica gas station. She loved her family, friends, dogs. She enjoyed family dinners and going to the Casino for entertainment. She was loved by several “adopted” kids and grandkids over the years.

Everyone knew that she would tell them what she thought about whatever situation- whether they wanted to hear it or not.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Dolly and Annie, grandson Daniel Colton III, granddaughter Brianna Colton.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 4-6pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson
