ANDERSON — Kathleen Hinton, 70, of Anderson, passed away on Jan. 31, 2020.
She was born on Nov. 29, 1949, to Alva and Louise (Bogue) Reding.
Kathleen worked in the IT department for the Youth Opportunity Center for many years. Her faith was important to her. She loved her family dearly. You could find her watching sci-fi TV shows or classic movies. She was always snuggling with her animals. She enjoyed laughing with friends and loved spending time on the water. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Kathleen is survived by her children, Michele Weaver (Ken) and Anthony Hinton (Elise); grandson, Alex Jennings; siblings, Bill Reding (Connie) of Anderson and Jerry Reding of Georgia; nieces and nephews, Jenni Bell, Rebecca Shaw (Danny), Matthew Hahn (Kacy), Tonya Deen and Jonathan Reding; great-nieces and great-nephews, Nicholas Bell, Brynn Worsham, Erinn Bell, Hayden Shaw, Levi Reding, and Georgia and Lucy Hahn; brother-in-law, Phil Hahn; special neighbor, Sharon Wright.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Wanda Hahn.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2020, from noon to 1 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service-Anderson.
