Kathy Elaine Sharp, age 73 of Frankton IN passed away at home surrounded by family on May 9, 2021. Kathy was born on March 10, 1948 to parents Billy J. and Georgia Ann (Rice) Hancher. Kathy was a 1966 graduate of Frankton High School. On June 8, 1968 Kathy married Michael Sharp.
Kathy is survived by her husband Michael, son Tim (Vanessa) Sharp, daughter Jennifer (Brian) Blair, brother Alan (Andrea) Hancher, granddaughters Tia, Jennifer (Curtis) and Jaelynn, nieces Stacy and Kirsty, and lifelong friends Carol, Joyce, and Mary Ann.
Kathy spent her life taking care of her grandchildren; that was her greatest joy. She also loved her class of ’66 get togethers.
A celebration of life for friends and family will be held at a later date, more information to come. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Frankton Ambulance Department at PO Box 7, Frankton, IN 46044.
