Keith E Chamness Jr.

Keith E. Chamness Jr., age 77, of Anderson, passed away at St. Vincent Anderson Hospital on September 11, 2021. He was born on March 21, 1944 to the late Keith E. Chamness Sr. and Lillie N. (Baker) Chamness.

Keith was an absolute friend to everyone. He was the guy that would give you the shirt off his back immediately if you needed it. Everyone who knew him loved him. He was always there for his children and grandchildren, never saying no. He took care of his family and was an extremely devoted husband. He served as a member of the Jehovah’s Witness North Congregation in Anderson for 60+ years. Keith was a master carpenter and could literally build anything you asked him to. He loved camping and anything to do with the outdoors. He was a wonderful husband, father, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Keith is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Judy Chamness; children Eric Chamness (Lynda), Lorri Harris, and Megan Chamness (Mike); grandchildren Autumn Marqua (Alex), Travis Greve (Brittany), Hayden Greve (Shelby), Connor Melton, Spencer Melton (Heather), Jada Melton, Elainea Chamness, and Leeah Stafford; great-grandchildren William Gauthier, Emily Greve, Addison Greve, Walker Greve, Braylon Melton, and Madilyn Melton; and siblings Allen, Carol, and Pam; along with several nieces, nephews, and special friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents listed above, daughters Andrea and Dana Chamness, and brothers Robert and Paul Chamness.

Cremation was chosen through Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
