Keith Michael Byers

Keith Michael Byers, 54, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 12, 2021, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on October 7, 1967 in Indianapolis to Mary Ann Jones. Keith graduated from Howe High School and Westwood College with a degree in IT. He served our Country in the United States Army before and during Desert Storm and was stationed at Ft. Lewis in Tacoma WA.

Keith loved to sing and music was his passion his whole life. He sang for church and loved Karaoke which led to his own business as a successful DJ. He shared his love of music with his beloved Joanne as they traveled and attended many concerts together over the years. The last song he sang was a heartfelt “Happy Birthday” to his grandson on the day of his birth. Keith adored his family and friends. He cherished the moments they spent together. Everyone who knew Keith knows he loved to watch the Kansas City Chiefs play and win. He also always rooted for the Colts.

He is preceded in death by his Mother, Mary Ann Jones and his daughter, Brooke Mariah.

Keith is survived by his sister Kat Kaiser, brother, Rodel Byers, his children, Brittiany Le Ann, Alexis Gabrielle, Kameron Michael, Spencer Keith and his loving partner Joanne Elizabeth and her daughter Rebecca Ann. Keith is also survived by his grandchildren, Audrianna Mariah, Amiah Gabrielle, Aaliyah-Noelle Kinzie, Jaxon Wayne and Hudson Israel.

There will be a Military Service and Celebration of Life at 3pm on Saturday, April 16, 2022 outside at Allisonville Christian Church (ACC), 7701 Allisonville Road. Indpls. IN. 46250. Cremation arrangements provided by Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to The American Cancer Society or The American Liver Foundation.
