Kelly O'Bryant

Kelly O'Bryant, age 46, passed away on July 22, 2024, in Anderson, IN, the town where she was also born on June 19, 1978. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and love that will be cherished by all who knew her.

Throughout her life, Kelly embodied the true spirit of generosity. She had a heart of gold and was always willing to help those in need. Her held a special place in her heart, and she made sure were always taken care of. Kelly's warm and lovable personality touched the lives of many. Described as kindhearted, funny, family-oriented, and always there for anyone who needed her, Kelly had a way of making everyone around her feel special. Her gullible and silly nature only added to her great personality, endearing her to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

In addition to her roles as a homemaker, mother, and wife, Kelly enjoyed various hobbies including camping, cook-outs, being outdoors, and watching TV. She had a talent for finding a good bargain wherever she went, showcasing her resourcefulness and practical nature.

Kelly is survived by her loving family: husband George O'Bryant; children Katlin Shindorf (Scott) and Jarrett O'Bryant; Mother Della (Sparks) McCord; granddaughter Jocelyn Shindorf; siblings Nicole Blair, Virgil McCord Jr. (Shelly), Brad McCord (Christy), Kevin McCord (Heather); and several nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Verena O'Bryant, father Virgil McCord Sr., and nephew Jeremy Blair. 

A visitation will be held on Tuesday July 30, 2024, from 1-3pm with a funeral service beginning at 3pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service - Anderson. 

The world has lost a truly remarkable individual in Kelly O'Bryant. May she rest in peace knowing that she made a positive impact on so many lives during her time with us.
