Kim Alan Cooning, Sr.

67, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday,February 10, 2016. Kim was born in Indianapolis, IN on September 25, 1948 to parents, Jack H. and Augusta Francis (Boehm) Cooning. He graduated from Scecina Memorial High School. Kim worked as a custodian for 32 years at Arsenal Tech High School.

Kim was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Augusta; twin grandsons, Jesse and Jack Collier; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Persinger.

H e will be lovingly missed by his daughter, Patricia (Cooning) Collier (JohnS.); son, Kim Cooning, Jr.; granddaughter, Kellie Collier; siblings: SherryPersinger, Christopher Cooning (Mary) and Maria Harrison (Andrew); two nieces,Megan and Beth; and two nephews, Zach and Jon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 22, 2016at Little Flower Catholic Church, 4720 E. 13^th Street,Indianapolis. Friends may call from 10a.m. until the service. Burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements thru Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence.
