Kristina Ja'Cole Lehman James

On April 28, 2022, Kristina Ja’Cole Lehman James peacefully and unknowingly slipped away. As she goes into the light, she leaves behind all the struggles she battled throughout her life. She was born on April 26, 1982, in Anderson, Indiana.

Kristina was loving, kind and generous but if you knew her, you also know how stubborn, determined, and bullheaded she could be. She was creative and artistic, able to put her feelings onto paper and turn them into a story or a Poem. She carried a joy that was evident when her face lit up at the sight of you. She held onto love for her family that, even in times of disconnect, was deep within her Heart.

Kristina leaves for us to cherish, two sons, Austin E. Jasiah Lehman James, and Jacob, whom she entrusted to be raised by another loving family. She was so very proud to know she gave them life and she Loved them dearly. She is also survived by her husband Erik James; mother Trina Galbreth; Father Michael Lehman; 2 granddaughters whom she adored, Amiyah Sharmea Carter and Mereyah Lee Sides; grandma Phyliss Borten; grandpa David Lehman; Grandma Carla Gosnell; 2 sisters and 1 brother; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandma Joyce Lehman, grandpa Oliver “Ollie” Borten, and grandpa “Blue” Gosnell.

A visitation will be held on Monday May 9, 2022 from 3-4pm with a funeral service beginning at 4pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
