Larry Allen Mauer Jr.

Larry Allen Mauer Jr., 57, of Greenwood, passed away on September 30, 2020. He was born on June 23, 1963 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Larry and Sandy (Leitzman) Mauer Sr. Larry graduated from Arsenal Tech High School, Indianapolis, IN. He was a painter and worked as a subcontractor for many construction companies until his illness would not allow him anymore.

Larry loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He also enjoyed being at the track every summer for the Brickyard.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, mentioned above; along with his brother, Jason Mauer.

He is survived by his children, Kimmy Thorson, Amber Delk (Josh), and Larry Mauer III; grandchildren, Jayda Mauer, Austin Mauer, and Sophia Delk; sister, Pam Perry (Tom); nephews, David Mauer, Justin Nixon, and Jason Michael Mauer; and niece, Chelsea Mauer.

Visitation will be from 10am to 11am on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with the funeral service to start at 11am. Burial will immediately follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
