Lavell L. Jackson

Lavell L. Jackson, 64, of Indianapolis, IN died on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Community Hospital East. She was born on November 5, 1952 to the late Wendell Stone and Louise Thompson (Walls) in Beech Grove, IN.

She was a homemaker that had a deep love of family and enjoyed taking care of her daughter and husband. Other hobbies included knitting, drawing, playing board/card games, watching scary movies and she had a passion for horses.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Randy D. Jackson; daughter, Christina Jackson; sister, Joyce Ray; nephews, Scott, Stephen, Daniel Burke and Thomas Stone; niece, Melissa Stone and a mother-in-law, Wanda Starke. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dennis Stone.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 23 at 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials in Mrs. Jackson’s memory be made to the family for final expenses. Arrangements entrusted to Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Indianapolis.
