Lawrence Born

Lawrence “Larry” Born, 76, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 25, 2018. He was born on February 17, 1942 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Cecil and Annis (Keller) Born. He graduated from Arsenal Tech High School in 1960. Larry worked as a parts driver to Tom O’Brien at 96^th and Keystone for 30+years, retiring in 2005.

Larry loved to travel and go camping. He and his wife would go to the car show at the Marion County Fairgrounds every year. Larry was also a member of Eagles #211.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Peggy Born; twin brother, Jerry Born (Geri) of Greenfield; sister, Carolyn Bailey of Florida; children, Julie Hill and Larry Born (Kisten); granddaughter, Sheree Hill; 11 great-grandsons and 1 great-granddaughter. Larry is preceded in death by his parents, mentioned above; along with siblings, Richard Born and Jenny Omen; and grandson, Joey Hill.

A celebration of life will be held from 12pm to 4pm on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Crestwood Village South, 8807 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN.  Arrangements provided by Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence.
