Mr. Lawrence Ronald Morgan, the son of the late Robert Lee and Wila Morgan, was born on June 3, 1961 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended IPS #110 and John Marshall High School. He was also a graduate of Herron School of Art and Design.
Lawrence accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and participated in various church congregations. He was a faithful member of Easter Star Church and the Indianapolis Chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of America.
Lawrence was an avid sports fan and loved his Indianapolis Pacers and Colts. He was a long time employee of Hoosier School Supply, until is closed in the late 90’s.
He and his twin brother, Leonard, were inseparable until 2012 when Lawrence suffered a brain aneurysm that left him partially paralyzed, and after which, he went to live in the Wildwood Nursing Home.
God promised Lawrence that in His Word, he would abide, and on Sunday, October 7, 2018, the Lord stretched forth His mighty hand and said, “Suffer No More”.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Marilyn Freeman and Sandra Kay Wilson; brothers, Larry, Bernie, Sammy, and Robert Lee Morgan; and his twin, Leonard Morgan.
He leaves to cherish his memory: guardian and brother in-law, Jerome Wilson; sisters in-law, Betty Morgan and Patricia Morgan; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be at 2pm on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with visitation starting at 1pm until the time of service.
