Lena Stefansson

Lena Reardon Stefansson, 86, passed away on November 6, 2024, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Erwin, North Carolina to the late John and Ellen Reardon. As a young woman, Lena moved to Indianapolis and attended Indiana University. She graduated from the IU School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in business. Armed with a degree in business, Lena began working in the field of real estate where she spent the majority of her career helping people find their dream home in the greater Indianapolis area.

Lena is survived by her husband of 40 years, Einar Stefansson; her children: Sheila (Jerry) Stegink, Willie Johnson, Bryan (Cindy) Johnson, and Jennifer Brown. She also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren to cherish her memory.

Services for Lena Stefansson will be held at Tabernacle Presbyterian Church located at 418 E. 34th Street, Indianapolis on Thursday, November 14, 2024. A visitation for the family and friends of Lena will occur in the church's chapel from 12:00 - 1:00PM, and her funeral service will follow the visitation. Later, she will be laid to rest at Concordia Cemetery.
