Lester W. Spilker Jr. age 72 lived in Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away at Greenwood Health Care Center in Greenwood, Indiana on Friday January 4th, 2019.
Lester was well known as Butch was born Aug. 28th, 1946 in Marion County, Indiana to Dorothy and Lester W. Spilker Sr. He received his GED while serving in the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1973 during the draft of Vietnam.
Butch only had 1 child a daughter Deanna Spilker, and 3 grandchildren Benjamin Ward, Abigail Ward, and Cheyanne Magboo.
He has always been a hard worker, everything he had, he worked hard for throughout his life. He enjoyed building and remolding homes and was a lover of cars. Butch had a favorite pass time of motorcycle riding. However, the one thing he took great pride in and you can ask anyone who knew him was, his daughter. He loved spending time with his family, he felt having a family relationship was very important.
Lester is survived by; his daughter Deanna Spilker (Robert Atteberry) his grandchildren; Benjamin Ward, Abigail Ward, and Cheyanne Magboo, his sisters; Donna Mae Hendren, Dixie Wilson, his brothers; Tom Spilker and Donald Spilker, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by; his parents; Dorothy Weaver and Lester W. Spilker Sr., and his sister Joyce Ann Spilker.
Viewing/ Funereal will be held: Monday January 14th, 2019 from 11AM to 1PM. At Legacy Funeral home on Morris St. in Indianapolis.

Lester will be laid to rest as Floral Park Cemetery next to his beloved sister Joyce.
