72, of Indianapolis,IN entered into rest on Thursday, March 23, 2017. She was born on November 15, 1944 in LaurelCounty, Kentucky to the late James and Nora Justice. Lillie lived her childhood in Kentucky, andmarried her husband of 15 years, William Coffey. In 1966, William’s job with IBM moved thefamily to Indianapolis, IN, and Lillie has lived there ever since. She worked at Methodist Hospital for 17years, first in dietary and then as a nurse’s aide. Lillie loved country music, hats and anyclothing with sparkles on it. She would wear her outfits every day, and becameknown in the community and on the busses as the “Jazzy Lady”.

Lillie is survivedby her: children, Wilma (William) Creighton, William Coffey Jr., SuzetteCoffey, and Nathaniel Coffey; grandchildren, Carwanda Coffey, David Boozer Jr.,Lakita Boozer, and Latrice Coffey; great-grandchildren, Sincere Coffey, NascereCoffey, Juelz Coffey, Israel Coffey, Carlita Sanders, Kamaria Sanders, and Car’dellSanders; siblings, James Justice Jr., John Justice, Clark Justice, HazelJustice, and Ray Justice; nieces, Lydia Justice, Johnetta Roberts, and TiffanyJustice; along with several nephews and her ex-husband, William Coffey. She is preceded in death by her siblings,Joyce Justice, Alice Cowan, and Howard Justice, along with her parentsmentioned above.

Funeral service will be 12pm on Thursday, March 30, 2017 atLegacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue,with visitation from 11am until the time of service.
