Linda Gail Unseld

Linda Gail Unseld was the middle child born to James H. and Juanita (Chandler) Lambert in Florence, Alabama on April 17, 1951. She was educated through the Indianapolis Public School system graduating from Crispus Attucks High School in 1969.

Linda was united in holy matrimony to Ronald Unseld, Sr. and they temporarily relocated to Nashville, Tennessee. They were blessed with two wonderful sons, Ronald George Jr. and Chris Deshawn. Later, Linda returned to Indianapolis and was employed for Goodwill Industries for many years.

Linda accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Pleasant Union Baptist Church and remained an active member for many years.

Linda was a kind hearted person that loved spending time with her family. She always had a kind word and a beautiful smile. Linda dearly loved her family and was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and always showed them support. She was a good cook and loved “old school” and gospel music. Linda was a quiet and humble, kind hearted person that would do anything for you.

Linda Gail Unseld departed this life on March 1, 2019 at the age of 67 years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves to cherish her precious memory her sons, Ronald (Andres) Unseld and Chris (Tosha) Unseld; four grandchildren, Mikyle, Ariana, Dheamontee, and Dheontae Unseld; one brother, James H. Lambert Jr.; one sister, Nina Jean Lambert; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Linda’s Homegoing Celebration will be at 1pm on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with a gathering starting at 12pm.
