Linda Kay Clayborn, 73, of Indianapolis died at 3:30 pm, Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at her daughters home from complications with her illness.
Linda or Nana to most, was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and was a lifelong area resident. She worked as a CNA, a butcher at Cub Foods, and found her career at Wonder Bread/ Hostess retail shop manager.
She is survived by her husband, Edwin Clayborn; children, Darrell Oldham, Tonja & Loran Freeman, Jeanette McIntyre, and Melanie & Zach Brizendine; grandchildren, Michael, Amanda, Nichole, Tavis, Braden, Amy, Brandon, Matthew, Destiny; great-grandchildren, Trevor, Jaylin, Mason, Rayna, Corey, Benjamin, Jaxon, Serinity, Amara, & Aaliyah; sisters Mary Snider, Alice Cossell, & Lucy Jenkins; numerous nieces and nephews; lifelong friends Patricia Kazort & Roberta Lynn.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Kenneth & Orlene Evans; siblings, Shellene Evans, Frank Evans, Debbie Brown, Tina Duncan, & Donald Evans.
Linda loved nature, travel, watching her favorite television shows, and listening to Elvis. Her favorite hobbies were doing her word searches, baking cookies, and spending time with her loved ones and friends. She was a beautiful loving and caring wife, mother, and Nana. She will be forever loved and missed.
