Linda Kirkwood

Linda passed from this earth in her sleep the morning of July 4th, her heart stopped, she had not been feeling well since Saturday June 29, but did not feel she need to go to the hospital.

She was born in July 1954 in Fresno CA, she was the first five children. Linda married Bob Kirkwood in February 1986 after knowing him for 10 years, they were married for 33 years.

Linda is survived by her Husband, 2 Fur Babies, 2 Step Children and two Grandchildren.

She serviced in the US Army for 20 years and retire as a Sergeant First Class, she then went on to a second carrier in in government service another 20 years as an Accountant for the Defense and Accounting Service.

Linda was an avid gardener growing numerous Hostas in the backyard and day lilies in the front yard. She loved quilting and has given away over 100 quilts to friend and family. Lastly she enjoyed her Koi pond in the backyard and was a great supporter of the Koi hobby being a member of 4 different Koi Clubs.

We are holding a gathering of friend and family on July 20th from 1 to 3 at Legacy Funeral Services, 5215 Shadeland Ave Indianapolis.
