Linda Sue (Dearing) Kolenda

Linda Sue (Dearing) Kolenda, 74, passed away atRawlins House in Pendleton on December 13, 2016.

Linda was born on February 14, 1942 in Anderson toEugene and Lucy Marie (Freestone) Dearing. Linda retired from GM Delco Remy. She was Grande President Passe of LaFemmes Local Cabane 510 in 1988 and held many offices within the Cabane over the years. She enjoyed BINGO, playing cards, watching the old classic movies, and attending the sporting events of her children and grandchildren.

Left to treasure memories of Linda are her children,Lance (Jennifer Craig) Kolenda and Laci (Tim) Landes; grandchildren, Taylor Alexis Kolenda, Morgan Landes, Lauren Landes, Abigail Craig, Aidan Craig, andAdler Craig; siblings, Mary Ann Bates, Charles “Pete” (Patty) Dearing, Janice(Jim) Humphrey, and Kenneth (Barbara) Dearing; and her precious puppy, Sophie.

Preceding Linda in death was her husband of 36 years,Edgar J. Kolenda; son, Lawrence Kolenda; brother, Robert Dearing; and her parents.

The service will be at Anderson Memorial Park Chapelon Friday, December 16 at 10:00 AM with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Tom Farling will preside. Burial will immediately follow.
