Lisa G. (McMillan) Williams was born in Blacks Ferry, Kentucky on December 29, 1940 to Glen and Grace McMillan. Lisa attended Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis.
Lisa accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. Before her long-term illness, she was a member of Living Faith Church. She held numerous jobs over the years including Western Electric, Stuart & Warner and spent her later years as a nanny for a host of families. She was committed to her family and did everything she could as a divorced Mom for her three children.
Lisa, affectionately known as Mommy Lisa, made sure everyone was well taken care of whether it be her own children and or other children she encountered. She enjoyed sports, traveling, and modeling in her early years. Lisa loved all types of music and liked to dance.
Lisa left to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Linda K. Coe; brothers, Danny Tooley and Melvin McMillan.
Those left to cherish her memory are daughters, Debra (DeDee) Williams-Rose and Pennie A. Williams; son, Ricky R. Williams (Liz); four grandchildren, Joshua G. Gant, Bianca I. Williams-Dodd (Anthony), Jazlyn B. Williams, Kalep M. Thompson and God-granddaughter Ashley A. Marks; two great-grandchildren, Jalen G. Gant and Arabella R. Dodd; one beloved sister, Carlotta Turner and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
