A good firework display will captivate you with the bright, beautiful lights and your eyes
and mind will be drawn in to its spectacular display like magic. The problem with fireworks is
that they can only stay with us a few fleeting moments and then we are left remembering their
brilliance as the dark residue gently falls from the sky.
On December 12 th , 2021 our moments with the brilliant light that was Lisa Nicole
Keating came to an end. A brave and incredibly strong spirit, Nicole was the true epitome of a
warrior and a huge supporter of self advocacy. Her legacy to all those that followed her story is
to never stop pursuing answers and always listen to your body. No one knows your body as
well as you do. Don’t be afraid to search for medical assistance that brings comfort to your
body and mind.
To those that knew her personally, the struggle to find light in the darkness will be an
ongoing challenge. Nicole brought beauty and purpose to everything in life. From her love of
all things Marilyn Monroe to her talent behind a camera, she captured the essence of everyone
and every situation that life presented to her. Her biggest passion in life was her two children,
Jesse and Devlin. From coaching them in soccer to assisting with wedding plans, Nicole was
always there with them. And there was no where else she’d have rather been. She always
fostered a relationship of love, honesty and humor while raising them. She considered her
primary mission in life to be molding them into loving and strong people.
Nicole has probably already had a joyous reunion with those that passed before her-
father Bradford Keating, step mother Kathy Keating and her beautiful grandson Nicolas
Tomlinson. The people she left behind are filled with grief but blessed for having known her.
Her mother Barbara Clark (husband Mark), son Jesse Tomlinson (wife Michelle), daughter
Devlin Arteaga (wife Carmela), brother Brad Keating (wife Marty), sister Tina Tipton (husband
Stan), sister Naomi Castor, sister Christina Swoveland (husband Jason), brother Troy Tuttle and
close to her heart was Brittanie, Cayson, Rilya, and Weston as well as many more aunts, uncles,
nieces, and nephews.
Nicole was able to receive invaluable supplies and services from The Little Red Door. She
would have wanted anyone who felt so moved to donate to their worthy cause. The support
they offer people who are sick and suffering is truly life changing. We honor Nicole by honoring
her wish for those that knew her and loved her- advocate for your health, embrace every
moment of life with gratitude, and love fully in everything you do.
“Life is like fireworks. You can close your eyes and be scared or open them and enjoy the
view”.
