Lois D. Snider

Lois D. Snider, 71, of Nashville, IN, passed away on January 17. 2021. She was born in Abura, KY on November 8, 1949 to Roy and Dorothy (Scruggs) Baskerville. Lois retired in 2007 from General Motors, after working there for 30 years.

She loved the Smokey Mountains, any casino that she could visit, and all of the holiday meals with her family, that she would prepare for them. Lois was lovingly known by her family as the greatest carrot cake maker in the world.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Dorothy; brother, Mark; and sisters, Diana and Judy. She is survived by her husband, Steve Snider; children, Chad, Angie, Chris, Mike, Maranda, Mike A. and Dawn; 10 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; and siblings, Kathy, Wayne and Ron.

Due to the Pandemic, services will be private on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence. Lois’ final resting place will be at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
