Lyndsey Renee’ Hord- 35 passed away on Monday April 6th, 2020 at her home. She was born in Greenfield Indiana to Sara (Winn) Tucker and Michael Hord on Friday August 24, 1984. She graduated from New Palestine High School in 2002. She was involved in cheerleading for 2 years. She was a talented gymnast with Indiana Gymnast for 9 years and won many State competitions throughout those years.
Lyndsey attended Indiana Business College from 2002-2004. She became a Medical Assistant with Hancock Pediatrics from 2004-2012. She left her position when she received a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis.
Lyndsey was loved by so many and she touched many lives throughout her short life. Her smile could light up a room and her laughter was contagious. She would give her last dollar to a person in need. She loved children and loved watching her nieces.
She was engaged to Michael Riley and was looking forward to spending her life with him.
She is survived by her mother Sara (Mike) Tucker and father Mike (Christina) Hord. her brother Brandon (Erica) Hord and niece Ataleigh, stepbrother Jake (Gabrielle) Tucker nieces Emma and Elaina, stepsister Kaley Tucker, step brothers, Dillon and Jackson Havens and Austin Pritchard. She is also survived by her grandparents Don and Lynda Bostic, Wilbur Hord, Yvette Pullins, Carol Winn, Mike and Janet Tucker, Don and Crystal Coovert. She had many aunts, uncles, cousins, that cared deeply for her.
Lyndsey was preceded in death by her grandparents John Winn, Arnold and Elaine LaMore, Mary Hord, Jack and Alene Prater. They certainly greeted her with open arms when she arrived in heaven.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
