Madonna Caroline Freeman

Madonna Freeman, age 96, daughter of Robert L. and Leanna (Riggs) Liermann, died January 30, 2020 at Bethany Pointe after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She attended Anderson High School. On July 26, 1941, she married Lester E. Freeman, who passed away October 4, 2005. No children were born to this union.

Madonna was a homemaker, had well-known whit, an avid reader, and always was wearing red lipstick. She was a long time member of the North Anderson Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Preceding her in death are her parents. husband, all grandparents, brother Robert A. Lierman, half-sister Ruth (Riggs) Cowen. Survivors include niece Pamela (Liermann) Wingate of Muncie; nephew Stephen Liermann of New York; and great-nephew Zachary Liermann.

Private cremation services were handled by Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
