Manuel Jesus Ayala, 73 years old entered into eternal rest on September 14, 2020 in Indianapolis, Indiana after a long illness. Born to Jesus and Carmen Ayala on January 17, 1947 in Oxnard, California. Manuel grew up as one of ten children. As Manuel was growing up, he enjoyed playing football, basketball, and baseball.
Manuel graduated from Port Hueneme High School in 1966. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Army for three years. Served a twelve-month tour in Vietnam. He retired after 21 years as a manger for a service station in Indianapolis, Indiana. Manuel will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. He will be remembered as a loving father, brother, uncle and husband.
Manuel is survived by his wife Shelly Ayala, Son’s Manuel, Justin, Christian and John Ayala, daughters Annette and Ashley Ayala, thirteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, brother Jess Ayala, sisters Edelmira Ayala, Gloria Valenzuela and Virginia A. Bañuelos and numerous nephews and nieces.
Preceded in death by his parents father Jesus P. Ayala, mother Carmen V. Ayala, brothers Paul, Antonio, Jesus and Ramon Ayala, sister Esperanza Ayala, nephews Andrew, Steve Ayala and Martin Bañuelos and niece Tammy Banuelos and Alice Mendoza.
Rosary at Funeraria Del Angel Oxnard at 401 W. Channel Islands Blvd., Oxnard, CA 93033, on October 13, 2020, at 11:00am, burial to follow at Santa Clara Catholic Cemetery, 2370 North H Street, Oxnard, CA 93036 at 12:30pm.
