Marie I. Miller

Marie I. Miller, age 73, of Indianapolis, went to her heavenly home on December 28, 2016.

Left to cherish memories of her are 1 daughter, Kathryn (John) Casey; 1 son, James (Kim) Verhagen; 3 grandchildren, Michael Choate, Kamri Verhagen and Kyle Casey; brother, Tim (Cheryl) Youmans and Peaches her bird.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Earl M. and Inez C. Youmans; sister, Wanda Sumner; brother, Travis Youmans and her faithful fur baby Buddy.
Marie loved her family and enjoying traveling. She also enjoyed giving back to the community, Marie would knit blankets for infants in the special care nursey where her daughter worked.

The family will be having a Memorial Service on January 15, 2017 at West Side-The Nazarene, 8610 W. 10th street, Indianapolis at 11:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life on January 28, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post #357, 5414 W. Sample Street, South Bend, Indiana.

In Lieu of flowers the family has requested that a donation be made to: Central Indiana Sheltie Rescue or I.W.I.N. Foundation.
