Mark Gerard Moriarty, born April 2nd, 1960 in Omaha Nebraska, died on November 28th, 2019 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was 59 years old.

Mark grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and later moved to Clearwater, Florida. He spent 4 years in the United States Air Force (Honorable Discharge) and then went on to work for the Florida Educational System as a printer. He later moved to Indianapolis, Indiana where he worked as a printer for the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and more recently, for Printing Partners.

Mark loved “old school” rock music and playing pool, but his greatest love was his son, Ian Alexander.

Mark is survived by his son Ian Alexander (Evangeline Wolanski); his step-children Marshall Tucker and Sarah (Bryan) Milligan; his step-grandchildren Ayryn, Jaimi, Jordyn and Christian; 7 siblings, Charles (Mickey), John, Daniel, Ellen (Stanley) Richardson, Melanie Ellerd (Bill), Cass Mather and Michael; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends, most especially Shawn Crafton. Mark was preceded in death by his parents John A. and Margaret H., as well as his sister Theresa (John) Davidson.

There will be a memorial service on Sunday, December 8th, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the “Pub” located at 2146 N. Mitthoeffer Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46229 (21st Street and Mitthoeffer).

His son asks that in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Heart Association on Mark’s behalf.
