Martha Gail Stone

Martha Gail Stone, 69, passed on to be with the Lord on Wednesday March 1^st, 2023. She was born on November 11^th, 1953, as a middle child of Dolores F. (Hofmeister) Studer and Louis O. Studer in Indianapolis IN. A graduate of Cardinal Ritter High School, she worked in multiple fields: cafeteria worker for Hendricks Regional Hospital and Indiana School for the Deaf and Blind; retail worker for Hills; as well as metal manufacturer at Somer Metalcraft Co. to name a few. She loved the Indianapolis Colts and was a season ticket member for over 20 years. Her real joy was with her family though and that’s where her legacy will live on. She was preceded in death by husband William Dennis Stone, her parents Dolores and Louis Studer, her sister Patricia Ann Studer, her sons Kenneth Douglas Stone and Christopher Lee Kissee and one grandchild. She is survived by her eleven brothers and sisters Donna Lee Klingenmeier (Ken), Roberta Sue Elmore (Les), Sherry Lynne Walker (Dennis), Paula Louise Warrix (Jeff), Anne Patrice Stout (Bob), Edna Christine Wilson (Jerry), Beth Renee Studer-Rude, Suzanne Thurman (Joe), Louis Orville Studer II (Debra), Amy Celeste Loss and Allen Joseph Studer (Lorette); her ten sons and daughters Susan Marie Stone, Juanita Faye Whiteman (Jack), Steven Edward Stone (Jacqueline), Amy Celeste Beck (Jason), Anthony Wayne Stone (Evelyn), Michael Dale Lippard, William Eugene Stone, Loretta May Sowers (Robert),  Jeremy David Stone (Angela), and Heidi Renee Lee (Edmen) as well as 26 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tues, March 14, 2023, from 4pm – 8pm at:  Legacy Cremation and Funeral Services 5215Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46226.

Funeral will be Wed, March 15, 2023, at 12pm

Burial will follow funeral at: Washington Park East Cemetery 10612 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229
