Martha R Turney

Martha R. Turney, age 75, of Anderson, passed away on August 16, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born on April 7, 1945 to the late Herman and Alma Morgan.

Martha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her world revolved around raising her girls, and then helping to raise her grandkids and great grandkids. Any time her family needed her; she would move to whatever state they were in to help with the kids. She was always there for her family no matter what. She spent a lot of her time at flea markets and would take any chance she could to collect another porcelain doll. She loved when she could go shopping with her family. Any time there was a baby around, Martha was right there. She adored babies. She is going to be missed deeply by all who knew and loved her.

Martha is survived by her children Angel Terry, Gina Shuler (Scott), and Bonnie Webb (Tony); 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister Kay Morgan; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Stanley Turney; her parents listed above; daughter Sheri Mairena; and 8 siblings.

Cremation was chosen through Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
