Mary Alice Adcock Orange passed away on September 19, 2022. She was born on December 16, 1945, to parents R.C. and Alice Irene Adcock.
She attended Arsenal Tech High School, which is where she met her husband, Albert Eugene Orange, Sr. The two were married in 1963 and brought 3 children into the world. They spent 60 wonderful years together.
She spent a lot of her time working in childcare, including raising her children as a stay-at-home mom, volunteering at their school, and eventually running her own daycare in her home. She loved children, and children were always drawn to her. She had a very loving and caring nature that kids loved.
Along with her love for caring for children, Mary loved to read and write. She also enjoyed listening to music, watching movies, relaxing in her pool with her grandchildren, and going boating with her family.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Albert “Gene” E. Orange, Sr.; her children, Sherry (Don) Lambert, Sheila (Kenney) McKinney, Albert “Geno” E. (Staci) Orange Jr.; her siblings, Patricia Maldonado and Raylene Lynch; her grandchildren, Destiny McKinney, Dylan McKinney, Delaney (Austin) Denham, Tyler Lambert, Aaron Lambert, and Ian Orange; and her great-grandchildren, Carter Denham, Miles Denham, Roman Hawn, and Ivy Lambert.
She is preceded in passing by her parents, mentioned above; step-mother, Marcella Adcock; and siblings, Richard Adcock, Larry Adcock, LaVonda Schmidt, and Carol Dunigan.
