Ms. Mary Alice Jointer

Mary Alice Jointer, age 85, of Camby, IN died on October 29, 2020.  She was born on May 20, 1935 in Wesson, MS to the late Buford and Evelyn (Bairfield) Mitchell.

She worked for many years at RCA where she held numerous positions.  She was a devout woman of faith and was an active member of East Side Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra (Paul) Wilburn and son, Richard Dean; sisters,  Mildred, Betty, Alma, Rubenell; brother, Gregory; Sister-in-Laws, Louise and Bertha; Brother-In-Law, Oscar; she also leaves behind to cherish her memory hosts of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Judge Copper Jointer; daughters, Hazel Akinsanya, Katie McKinney and Glenda Jointer; sons, Tyree Jointer, Robert Jointer and John Jointer, Sr.; brothers, James and Robert Lee; sisters, Marvina, Earlean and Louise.

Visitation will take place on Monday, November 16, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Indianapolis, 1604 W. Morris St., Indianapolis.  Memorial donations in Ms. Jointer’s memory can be made to Gleaners Food Bank.  Envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home.
