Mary Ann Whitlock, 79 of Indianapolis, Indiana

Mary Ann Upton was born May 2, 1940 in Rodentown, Alabama to Charles Upton and Kathleen (Drain) Upton. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend.

Mary passed on December 14, 2019 at 03:48 am with her family by her side.

Mary was a graduated in 1958 from Brownsburg High School. She was self employed Office Administrator. She retired from Wishard Hospital as a Care Tech 3 in the Emergency Room. She was a member of Community Caring and Sharing Church.

Mary was proceeded in death by her parents Charles and Kathleen Upton, husbands; Albert Carter, Virgil Whitlock, and Travis Murl Jones, son; Eddie Dale Carter, and sister; Anna Mae Crumpton.

She is survived by her sons; Rocky Carter, Mike Whitlock, and Virgil Whitlock, brother; David Upton, sisters; Theresa Yates, grandchildren; Derek Eck, Albert Carter, Kaylisa Carter and Kolten Lee Tackett, her best friends; Brenda Kay Mullins and Brenda King, and several family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 12 noon until funeral at 1pm.
