Mary Cecelia Simer

Mary Cecelia Simer (Nutall) 82, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 12, 2022. She was born on December 19, 1939 in Indianapolis. Mary graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic School for girls. Mary was a kind soul, who always had a smile or a hearty laugh for you. She loved to do puzzles, and watch her tv shows.She worked at Rand McNally books for 19+ years, until they relocated the plant. Mary loved her pets, Dino preceded her in death.

She is preceded in death by her sons, Richard(Ricky) Simer, Timothy Simer, and Tony Simer. Mary is survived by her children, Deborah Simer, Jeanne Simer. Grandchildren, Matt Mitchell, Monica Schafer, Ashley Schafer, Chealsea Simer. Great-Grandchildren, 4 great-granddaughters, and 4 great-grandsons.

Visitation is Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 12pm to 1pm, with a service to start at 1pm, at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, Indianapolis. Burial to follow at Sutherland Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral and cemetery expenses.
