Mary Janice “Jan” Bragdon

86, of Carmel, passed away on June 12, 2017. She was born on February 19, 1931 in Shoals, Indiana to the late Guss and Blanche Bridges. Jan was a school bus driver for the MSD Lawrence Township from 1971 thru 1986. She was also a registered EEG Technologist and Inhalation Therapist. Jan also loved writing poetry and songs and singing. Some of her poetry was published in “Who’s Who” of American poets.
Jan is survived by her: 3 children, Mark Roland Bragdon of Carmel, IN, Lori Denise Wann of Pendleton, IN, and Jay Warren Bragdon of Lewisburg, TN; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her: husband, Ernest Roland Bragdon, along with her parents mentioned above.
Funeral service will be 12pm on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with visitation from 11am until the time of service. Burial to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Fishers, IN
