Mary Owens

Mary Hubbard-Owens, age 89, died on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Eagle Valley Meadows. She was born on December 6, 1928 in El Dorado, AR to the late William Jessie and Linnie (Hamm) Hubbard.

She was a member of Lighthouse Tabernacle and loved to listen to the Gaither Gospel Hour.

She is survived by two sons, Victor (Wanda) Owens of Tyler, TX and Phillip D. (Regina) Owens of Ft. Myers, FL; grandchildren, Dustin D. (Christina) Owens, Cara M. Owens, Nathaniel D. (Cassie) Owens and Tyler A. (Raeann) Owens; great-grandchildren, Alannah Fitzgerald, Fiona Owens, Joshua Shumaker, Zoey Owens and Josephine Owens; sister, Martha Sturdivant and brother, Tommy (Wanda) Hubbard. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard J. Owens; brothers, John, Marvin and Harvey Hubbard.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 30, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services -Lawrence, 5215 N. Shadeland Ave., Indianapolis. Donations may be made in memory of Mrs. Owens’ to the Alzheimer’s Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Burial will immediately follow the service at Oaklawn Memorial gardens, Fishers, IN.
