Matthew French- Hollingsworth

With much regret we are saddened to announce the passing of Matthew James French-Hollingsworth. He died  unexpectedly on May 9th 2024. He was 23 years old and a twin brother. He was born to Retired Vietnam Veteran SFC Gordon French and Wife Cora  on October 16, 2000. Matthew was a young aspiring tradesman who loved fishing, hunting and anything outdoors. He loved training hunting dogs and had gotten to train many on many different hunting grounds across Indiana. He was a kind, caring, and giving individual. He would give all he had if you had none. Gone too soon, a great undeveloped soul, will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.  He is survived by his twin brother Nicholas,  His mothers Cora French and Amanda Hollingsworth, His immediate siblings, Lisa (Nick, Wiley, Jack, Cy)  Cynthia (Chris, Emily, Aaron) Erica (Jordan, Carter, Charlie) Jessica (Zach, Camryn, Kaleb, Chelsie) Michael (Ashley, Isaac) Tami (Hayden, Kinley) Sean (Erika, Tristan) Andrea and Haley. His Best Friend and Adoptive Brother, Chase Simpson (Amanda's Son and Chase's son Weston Simpson) Adoptive Grandma Memaw Sue Hollingsworth & Adoptive Sisters Corina Pierce (her daughter  Elliona Warren) and  Ashley Obryant. 

A Celebration of Life will be open to the public and held at The American Legion in Daleville on June 8th 2024. Beginning at 11am-2pm. All friends and family will be welcome to come through and celebrate Matthew and tell his stories. The family is asking that at 2pm, everyone who is not immediate family to leave so they may honor him together one last time. Thank you!
