Melba Hudson Fishburn

75, of Indianapolis, went home to the Lord Sunday, April 9, 2017. Born April 7, 1942, she was the sixth child of Elzie and Effie Fishburn. Melba, a graduate of George Washington High School, married Hugh Hudson (Baptist minister) in June 1960. Ms. Fishburn founded 3H Reality on the westside of Indianapolis. Her faith in God guided her throughout life.

Melba is preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Audrey Archer, Shirley Lewis and Hillous Fishburn. Survivors include: daughter Michele Erwin; brothers Gerald and Mack Fishburn; grandchildren: Amie Smith, David Sedam, and Spencer Seidensticker; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services: April 14th, 2017 at 12 noon, at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 1604 West Morris Street, with burial at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood. Calling: April 13th from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
