Melissa Ann Cavassa was born on January 24, 1972, in Indianapolis, IN to her parents Herbert and Madonna Henry. Melissa departed her earthly life on January 11, 2025, Melissa took many pathways for work to support her family, and one lead her to meet her husband Atilio Alberto Cavassa in 1999.
Melissa and Atilio were married on February 14, 2000. On March 31, 2001, they welcomed their only child a son Alberto Edward Cavassa. In that same year she would being her career making sure that each Student of Speedway Highschool was served warm meals. Melissa continued working at Speedway Highschool until 2020.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Atilio, son; Alberto, sister Madonna Edgemon, nieces; Madonna and Brianna Edgemon, sister in laws; Anna Maria, and Yolonda, brother in laws; Ramon and Milton, and her 2 best friends; Kathy and Pam. Melissa will be remembered as a quiet loving, caring soul.
