MICHAEL DONALD TEETS

Michael D. Teets, 79, a resident of Crestwood South, passed away January 20, 2021 at St. Francis South, Indianapolis, IN

Mike was born June 8, 1941, in Indianapolis where he was a lifelong resident.  He attended Our Lady of Lourdes elementary school and Scecina Memorial High School.  After serving proudly in the military with the U.S. Army, Mike worked all his life as a journeyman electrician and retired from Allison Engine and Chevrolet Divisions of General Motors Corporation.

For many years Mike was active as a Master Mason and was a member of the Bridgeport Lodge as well as York Rite and Scottish Rite Cathedral in Indianapolis.

Mike is survived by his brother Thurman Teets (Joan); his son-in-law David Vize (Donna); two grandsons, Bradly Vize and Jerret Vize (Brittany)and one great grandson Lucian; as well as nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dixie Cassida Teets.  Also preceding him in death were his daughter Melanie Vize; parents, Thurman T. Teets Sr. (Harry) and Alma R. Teets; his brother John F. Teets; and his sister Dolores Palush.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Floral Park Cemetery at 1pm.
