Mr. Michael Lee Hawkins

Michael Lee Hawkins, age 65, passed to his eternal reward on Friday, November 27, 2020 after a long battle with cancer.  He was born on October 1, 1955 to the late Doyle W. and Irene (Marchum) Hawkins in Beech Grove, IN.

He was a 1974 graduate of George Washington High School.  On December 29, 1984 he married Mary Richardson.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Hawkins; sons, Michael (Susan) Hawkins II and Matt (Jennifer) Hawkins; grandchildren, Alexis McQuilling, Kevin McQuilling, Taylor Lumpkin, Wesli Stevens, Markie Lumpkin, Michael Hawkins III and Khloe Hawkins; great-grandchildren, Dylan Swango and Karter Swango; brothers, Jerry (Connie) Hawkins and Doug (Pamela) Hawkins; sisters, Jane Binge, Phyllis (Steve) Price and Sherry (John) Centers.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Pamela Bailey and Peggy Fischer and a brother Glen Steve Hawkins.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.  Pastor Tim Agee from Sanctuary Church will officiate.  Donations in Mr. Hawkins memory can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
