Michael Troy Baker

Michael Troy Baker, age 74, of Anderson, passed away on June 17, 2020. He was born on February 1, 1946 to the late James and Martha Baker.

Michael attended Madison Heights High School, where he then later joined the National Guard in 1964. He met his wife Glendora over their shared CB Radio hobby, and they married in 1969. He worked for Nicholson File for many years. He loved to watch war movies, Star Trek, tell jokes, and you could always find him relaxing at home drinking a beer. His family was the most important thing to him. Michael will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Michael is survived by his children Sandy Fields and Lorrie McCord; son-in-law John Richardson;  grandchildren Christopher Fields, Dakota Fields, Natalee Fields, Sean Richardson (Kelsey), Deanna McLaughlin, and Jansen Neill (Austin); siblings Robert Baker, Marcella LaBranche, Sharon Wyatt (Rosco), Katherine DiCicco (Tony), Pamela Land (Jim), Roger Baker (Sue), Christina Cross (Danny), and Donna Haygood (Noah); great-grandchildren Melanie, Malydia, Landon, Kenzie, Kyson, Hope, and Jazmine; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife Glendora, daughter Michelle Richardson, great-granddaughter Natalie McLaughlin; and siblings Patricia Hines, Virgil P. Baker, James W. Baker, Kenneth Baker, Linda Baker, and Jennifer Patrick.

A private family service will be held on Monday, June 22, 2020 at 12pm in the chapel of Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
