Midge Ann Cummings Krieg, 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family.

Midge was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Krieg, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and a little bit of keeping him in line. Together, they joyfully raised four children and built a legacy of love that continues to shine through their family.

Midge was a Colts and Pacers fan, as well as any team her grandchildren played on. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—camping, fishing, playing penny slots, and being a friend to her adult children.

Her faith was a guiding light in her life. She attended Grace Baptist Church, Madison Park Church of God, and visited United in Christ Church. Midge greeted the world and everyone she met with a radiant smile, living out Jesus’s commandment to “love thy neighbor as thyself.” Even in her final hours, she remained a beacon of joy and grace, greeting others with a smile despite health challenges in her later years.

Midge is survived by her daughter Carla Hodson(Duane); her sons, Danny Krieg, Scott Krieg, and Barry Krieg (Brenda); her grandchildren, Angie Hodson, Jason Hodson, Adam Fetty, Tyler Krieg, Tiffany Wells, Brandon Krieg, Braxton Krieg, and Danielle Krieg; as well as several great-grandchildren who brought her endless delight.

Midge’s life was a testament to love, faith, and kindness. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her.
