Miles Lincoln Minnich, 66, passed away August 19, 2017 at St. Vincent’s in Anderson. He was born to Glenn and MaryAnna (Kimmerle) Minnich in Winchester, Indiana on October 17, 1950.
Miles graduated Ball State with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. It was there that he met his wife, Theresa. He was a truck driver and worked for Carter Express for ten years, where he earned his Million Mile Safe Driver award. He was an active member of First Baptist Church.
Miles enjoyed golf, working in the yard, sports, and landscape photography. He and Theresa loved to take little trips and would go the scenic route whenever they could. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Left to cherish Miles’ memory is his wife of forty-one years, Theresa Minnich; children, Matthew (Kelly) Minnich, Amanda (Adam) Kizer, Lindsey Minnich (fiancé, Matt Sutton), and Alexander Minnich; grandchildren, Katie, Gracie, Sam, Charlotte, and Emily; siblings, Electa (Allen) Berk, Tom (Linda) Minnich, Toni (Mark) Heggie, and Tim Thorpe; and several nieces and nephews.
The family is thankful for all of the love and support from family and friends over the last year.
Visitation is Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 PM at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services. Funeral services are Thursday, 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Art Jaggard presiding.
