Misty Fisher

Misty Fisher, age 44, of Anderson, passed away at home on February 16, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on September 12, 1976 in Anderson.

Misty was a waitress at several restaurants throughout her life, Nicks Pizzeria being one of her most favorites. Misty was one of a kind, outgoing, and always trying to do whatever she could for those around her. She was a people-pleaser to a T. She loved the sunshine and the way it made her feel. Misty had a morning ritual of waking up and having her morning cup of coffee, she looked forward to it every day. She loved her kids fiercely. She fought cancer hard for over 5 years, and her family finds peace knowing that she is basking in the sunshine now, no longer in pain. One of Misty’s proud moments was when she was baptized in 2018 at Greater Light Church by Pastor Mike Johnson. Misty was a wonderful mother, grandma, daughter, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Misty is survived by her children Lacie Hartsch-Palmer (Quintaze), Gabriel Wright (Jade Samuels), Izzriel Wright, and Whitney Kinser; grandchildren Zephaniah Palmer, Elliana Palmer, Ma’Riana Palmber, Brayden Wright, Braxton Wright; and a grandbaby on the way; mother Kimberly Decker; brothers Mitchell Gaar and Donny Harper; aunt Christy Hopper  (Kiki); cousin Michaela Sykes; and many close friends.

She is preceded in death by her brother Dustin Hopper; Grandma Joyce Hopper; father figure Danny Hopper; brother Wesley Troxell; and nephew Nate Hopper.

Cremation services were handled through Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
