Nancy J. Burmeister

Nancy Joan Burmeister, 69 years of age. Born March 8, 1951, passed November 28, 2020. She is survived by her siblings Richard and Donald Wilbur, Marilyn Perry, and Pat Harris, her daughter Cynthia Cope and husband Anthony Cope, her son William Burmeister III and wife Beth Burmeister, grandchildren Dalton Cope, Allysa Cope-Griffith, Michael Cope, Meghan Brock, and great grandchild Liam Griffith. She was a member of Victory Restoration Ministries, and will be missed by her church family, her many friends and neighbors. Services will be on Monday December 7, 2020 with viewing between noon and 1 p.m. with funeral proceedings immediately after, with Pastor Darryl Tyler officiating. Her final resting place will be at New Crown Cemetery.

Her love and joy for her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchild will be missed by all. Her strength, and fight for life throughout her journey encouraged not only her friends and family, but those who only met her in passing. She would not want us to mourn, but celebrate her homecoming as she is now with our Lord and Savior. She is among the many angels who have passed before her, saving special places for all of us when we are called home to be beside her.

Nancy had a favorite charity called https://www.donatelifeindiana.org/ , This was very close to her heart as she was given an 11 year extension on her life by a gracious donor. She was able to see the marriage of her son to Beth, the graduations of her grandchildren, her granddaughter Allysa marry, and the birth of her great grandson who she adored more than anything. The family is asking that if you feel in your heart to do something for the family, please give to this wonderful organization, and consider donating life itself. Flowers are being accepted.
