Patricia Ann Chaney Hodson Davis, age 89, of Anderson, passed away peacefully at her home on February 19, 2022. She was born on February 21, 1932, to the late John and Margaret Ann (Jones) Chaney. She was the 15th of 17 children.
Patricia was a graduate of Anderson High School, Class of 1950. She was a hairstylist for most of her life, a true passion of hers. She was also a professional clown “Patty Cake” and loved to clown around with her brother Uncle Phud and sister Sassy. Patricia was a member of the Elks Lodge, the Ladies Shrine, and the Eagles. She truly loved life and her family more than anything. She was the bright light of her family. She loved to line dance, ballroom dance, laugh, and play with her family. She said dancing was the secret to keeping her healthy and happy. She was the rock and hero for so many. She would give you the shirt off her back and not expect anything in return. She showed unconditional love to all she knew. You could always find her laughing. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Patricia is survived by her two children Deborah Law (Gary) and Donald Hodson (Renee); grandchildren Adam Law (Ashley), Adria Sullivan (Kevin), Chantz Hodson (Lauren), and Zaria Abbott (Zach); great-grandchildren Logan, Rylie, Finley, Farrah, Cambreigh, and Everleigh; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents listed above, husbands Donald Hodson and Ray Davis, and 16 siblings.
