Patsy B. Jacoby

Our beloved mother, Patsy B Jacoby, passed away Sunday evening on November 14th, 2021 at the age of 76.

Born in Detroit, Michigan on January 19th, 1945, Patsy was the daughter of the late James Clifton Norris and Vera Gussy Norris. For most of her life she resided in Indianapolis, Indiana. Patsy, also known as “Sassy Patsy”, was a vibrant, fun-loving, compassionate, devoted mother and grandmother. Her striking blue eyes and sparkling smile could always brighten any room. Her quick-whitted sense of humor would always capture the center of attention. She never wanted to be out and about without her makeup on, her nails done, and her hair did.

Patsy was preceded in death by two of her children, Richard W. Gray Jr and Tracy Lynn Gray. She is survived by her husband Joseph Jacoby and two more of her children, Michelle B. Gray (Plata) and Scott Anthony Gray. As well as her step son Jacob Jacoby. In addition, her grandchildren Marina and Luca Plata, Olivia and Vaughn Gray, Abby Gray, and Kylie (Gray) Cuppett. Also, her two great grandchildren Lakelyn and Presley Jo Cuppett.

There was no way to describe Patsy in one word. Her beauty radiated, her soul and and big heart touched so many, and she will be truly missed.

Visitation will be from 1pm to 2pm on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with a service to start at 2pm. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
